"Full disclosure. I read this while working and studying for classes. Some of the time, i didn't understand what was going on and got mixed up with the characters and the plot line. But I was ok with that because I was reading simply to read, and I enjoyed it. I hope to read it again sometime when I have more mental energy to put into it. That might increase my star rating. :)"

"3.5 stars. This is one of those books I will say I liked the story of, but not the actual book. Man, the ending was good. But there were, in my opinion, too many unnecessary characters and long stretches in which nothing really happened (Countess G, the introduction of the Count to a lot of people who did not prove important to the plot), so I would say, read an abridged version, or an audiobook, if you're doing something else."
