"So I started this book first instead of “The Deal”, but regardless I still understood the book. I didn’t like all the steamy scenes and the parts where they mentioned their past, once is fine to let the readers know, but after that it sounds bad. This book had a nice ending."
"Dual POV. I’m a sucker for a sports romance and this was a really good read. There are definitely some elements that age this story but overall I enjoyed it. I found some of the spice in this book super cheesy and unrealistic and can’t remember if I felt that way with The Deal. No 3rd act breakup which is always a plus for me! The last 3rd of the book was a little slow though and the conflict resolution at the end felt predictable and a little rushed. Overall big fan of Elle Kennedy and look forward to reading the rest of the Off Campus series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶🌶/5"
"I really like this book. I love the groveling, banter, humor, rawness, compassion, and the dynamic between not only the two main characters, but also the rest of the characters. John (Logan) and Grace compliment each other well and I love his stubbornness and patience as well as Grace’s strength and kindness. I also feel like I can relate to Grace’s character, which makes the story all the more real and enjoyable for me. I love this whole series and can’t wait to read the the rest of the hockey and new adult romances of the series!"
"Fourty four. "
