"Twisty, grisly, genre-bending and immersive, Not Even Bones will grab you by the throat and drag you along as it gleefully tramples all of your expectations." —Sara Holland, New York Times best-selling author of Everless Dexter meets This Savage Song in this dark fantasy about a girl who sells magical body parts on the black market—until she’s betrayed.Nita doesn’t murder supernatural beings and sell their body parts on the internet—her mother does that. Nita just dissects the bodies after they’ve been “acquired.” Until her mom brings home a live specimen and Nita decides she wants out; dissecting a scared teenage boy is a step too far. But when she decides to save her mother’s victim, she ends up sold in his place—because Nita herself isn’t exactly “human.” She has the ability to alter her biology, a talent that is priceless on the black market. Now on the other side of the bars, if she wants to escape, Nita must ask herself if she’s willing to become the worst kind of monster. Now available as a Webtoon!

"All the reviews I read were favorable, and I'm back to give you a 5 ⭐ out of 5. The premise and darker tone is incredible, with a character of questionable morals I can get behind. Get any ideas of a perfect/predictable/plain story out of your head, because this is some pretty incredible dark fantasy. #dark_fantasy #fantasy #questionable_morals #intense #thriller_feel #monsters #imperfect_characters"
"Be warned, the ending is a cliffhanger. Nita dissects unnaturals. She focuses on her task and not how the bodies got to her take. When she is brought a live boy, she has a case of Morals. After helping the boy escape, Nita finds herself a prisoner. She is about to have her body parts sold to the highest bidder. Nita learns that she is willing to cross many lines in the fight to get her freedom. Exactly what separates a monster from a good person. Not Even Bones is a fanatic read. It is rather gory, so not recommended for the squeemish."
"I couldn't put the book down, it has a super intriguing premise that made it impossible to stop reading."
"The dynamic between Nita and Kovit was legendary. Just two people supporting each others bad decisions to the end"
"I would recommend this book over and over again"
