NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER A Most Anticipated Book of 2022 by Cosmopolitan, Goodreads, PopSugar, and more! From the author of the Goodreads Choice Award winner The Spanish Love Deception, the eagerly anticipated follow-up featuring Rosie Graham and Lucas Martín, who are forced to share a New York apartment.Rosie Graham has a problem. A few, actually. She just quit her well paid job to focus on her secret career as a romance writer. She hasn’t told her family and now has terrible writer’s block. Then, the ceiling of her New York apartment literally crumbles on her. Luckily she has her best friend Lina’s spare key while she’s out of town. But Rosie doesn’t know that Lina has already lent her apartment to her cousin Lucas, who Rosie has been stalking—for lack of a better word—on Instagram for the last few months. Lucas seems intent on coming to her rescue like a Spanish knight in shining armor. Only this one strolls around the place in a towel, has a distracting grin, and an irresistible accent. Oh, and he cooks. Lucas offers to let Rosie stay with him, at least until she can find some affordable temporary housing. And then he proposes an outrageous experiment to bring back her literary muse and meet her deadline: He’ll take her on a series of experimental dates meant to jump-start her romantic inspiration. Rosie has nothing to lose. Her silly, online crush is totally under control—but Lucas’s time in New York has an expiration date, and six weeks may not be enough, for either her or her deadline.

"* NO SPOILERS* I loved this book and the story between the two, but it seemed kind of slow. I liked the characters within this and the development of them, but they both teased each other with the idea of them (if you know what i mean and im not butchering getting my point across). I just feel like it was a given they were into each other from the start, and Rosie made herself seem crazy for liking Lucas? I wasn’t really a fan of that part, because the internet stalking was a bit much but she already knew of him. I liked how the book kept the innocence though and the spicy scenes weren’t even like THAT spicy."
"Ok. Get ready because this made me real mad. The book itself started off great. I loved the characters, loved the setting and the storyline, but I feel like it lost it after awhile. Now I do get that some people really enjoy spice in their books, but personally, it ruined this one for me. I didn’t really like the characters after that because I feel like they lost their touch. I didn’t even finished the entire book becuase I feel that the storyline was lost. I haven’t read a book like this in awhile I don’t think I will again. That’s all, I apologize you had to see me rant like this 😂"
"I love friends to lovers but honestly it’s not a slow burn in my opinion. Rosie was basically already in love with him when she saw him. It’s also kinda cringe in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong I love romance books but this one wasn’t that good. It’s a cute quick read though. "

"I just finished this book and I’m at a loss for words. I usually don’t like slow burns but this book made me love slow burns. The way I got to know the characters individually before finally getting there love story was amazing. Both Rosie and Lucas are definitely the top characters on my character list, I love them so much!"
