"So glad I saw this on BookTube a few months ago! Though I’ve heard mixed reviews-I seriously enjoyed this read, and cannot wait to pick up the second book! A play on the Jack the Ripper case(s). This story takes place in the 1880s, in London. We follow our main character, Audrey Rose through her normal day to day life; Studying under her uncle in all things science, specifically human anatomy! Not forming to the normality of the time period, she must keep her interests secret from the public. Her own father would never support her activities. The only people that are aware of her hobbies are her brother, uncle, and now a new boy who has come into her life… Suddenly murders begin to take place in her London! A serial killer, who calls himself the Ripper is on the loose! So Audrey begins one of her own, with the help of her uncle and a mysterious young man! I’m such a sucker for a who dunnit plot, and this book certainly delivered! All of the characters were suspects at one point or another! Making the book constantly full of suspense, right up to the very end! With the mystery and mysterious romance throughout this book-I can guarantee it will keep a reader throughly engaged! I’d recommend this book to any mystery and true crime lover✨ "
