"It's small but it gives a nice description of their past. I think it's best to read this one last or after the 4th book"

"Boring. The main villain is, for the lack of a better word, exaggerated. Though he is an awful person like he's made out to be, some of his actions aren't as evil or terrifying as they're described. The whole series will not let you forget that he is the villain, even though the reader is WELL aware. Also, either he can't make up his mind about his viewpoints, or his character was just written poorly overall (my bet). I did like the main character though and I sympathized for her a lot."
