"I was cruising through "The Wife Between Us," thinking this book is “just okay,” and then BAM! Those last 8 chapters hit with a twist I never saw coming. 🤯 So I ended up enjoying the story….
However…. I have to say I was WAY more engaged with "The Golden Couple" by the same authors — I was suspiciously side-eyeing almost every character in THAT book from start to finish.
▪️BOTTOM LINE: ”The Wife Between Us" took its sweet time to rev up, whereas "The Golden Couple" had me hooked right from the start, and the intrigue was continuous all the way through to the final twist at the end 👀✨ "
