Damen is a warrior hero to his people, and the rightful heir to the throne of Akielos, but when his half brother seizes power, Damen is captured, stripped of his identity, and sent to serve the prince of an enemy nation as a pleasure slave. Beautiful, manipulative and deadly, his new master Prince Laurent epitomizes the worst of the court at Vere. But in the lethal political web of the Veretian court, nothing is as it seems, and when Damen finds himself caught up in a play for the throne, he must work together with Laurent to survive and save his country. For Damen, there is just one rule: never, ever reveal his true identity. Because the one man Damen needs is the one man who has more reason to hate him than anyone else . . .

"The first chapters read like an erotica you found on a random bookshelf while your mom is shopping at sprouts, BUT it evolves into a delicious slow burn, the best enemies to lovers I have ever had the pleasure of watching unfold. This is one of the few series where I end up liking the second protagonist even more than the narrator. The first book is really a set-up of the world-building, and next two are the beautiful unraveling of a twisted plot and a man who thought he was alone in the world. "
"When slash fiction goes prime time! An enjoyable trilogy for sure."
"Okay, so I don't know how I feel about this series at all. I read it all, it wasn't terrible, but it felt kind of...weird. The entire first book felt like it was just going to turn into some kind of weird erotica. And it kind of was. Like...the main character was even kept on a leash. Then the second two...helped some but also?? It felt almost fetishizationy. But idk. It wasn't my thing. Also there was a scene where the mc had a bj forced on him so??? "
