Brandon Reed I read the article not because I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan (I like a lot of her songs, but not avidly), but because I thought "Am I reading that headline right?" This could be setting a game changing precedent for future film releases. Indie film distribution for a major release? This could revive the cinema, if it doesn't turn out to be an isolated incident. Lower ticket prices with more of the revenue going to the theaters, themselves. Taylor Swift might become the savior of the multiplex 🤣
