No One You Know Richard Simmons has stated he does not want this to be made. He's a really private person. They should at least wait until he isn't living. Seems callous.

James Neumann Richard Simmons disappeared for years. There's whole podcasts and books asking where he went. He's never addressed it. I wouldn't be surprised if that period is being discussed in the biopic and he doesn't want it out there, even if it is accurate.

Star It’s extremely distasteful to produce a biopic about someone without their explicit consent and input. I’m not going to watch it solely for the reason that Richards Simmons does not support this film.
