John Carpenter's The Thing, which is rarely streaming anywhere with a subscription alone, is currently on sale on Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu) for only 5 dollars. This sale is only on for today, August 3, and tomorrow, August 4, 2024. Additionally, it may only be available in the USA.

Brandon Reed Man, even the poster for that one's worse. The point of the original's cover art, pictured here on Likewise, is that you don't know who's in the parka. Is it your friend and coworker, or is it the thing? A major theme of the movie is paranoia, and the poster is based on that. The reboot/prequel cover art still has the face obscured, but it has monstrous, thingy fingers. There's no suspicion, no paranoia, and no nuance. I posted an ask a few hours ago about sequels that missed the script, and that's one of them.
