Topic: Hellboy: The Crooked Man
Hellboy: The Crooked Man is set to release in the UK on September 27th. We still don't have a release date for North America. Any idea why that might be? Does this have more to do with the film, or the studio, or the franchise's last blunder?

Brandon Reed On an interesting note, Brian Taylor co-wrote and directed Hellboy: The Crooked Man. His last film before Hellboy 4 was Mom and Dad, which featured Selma Blair opposite Nic Cage. Selma Blair had previously played Hellboy's love interest, Liz Sherman, in Hellboy 1 and 2. That's, like, two degrees of separation.

Brandon Reed Director/co-writer Brian Taylor claims that all the effects are practical. The character's creator and comic book veteran, Mike Mignola, co-wrote the script, which is adapted from one of Mignola's stories featuring Hellboy. These facts together have me optimistic for the film.

Road Master So I just Googled this and Google says it will release on VOD on October 8th.
