Brandon Reed I noticed some plot holes in some of the individual episodes. Did you? Did they detract from your experience?

Road Master I can't think of any plot holes. But I might recognize them if pointed out.

Road Master Yep. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

Brandon Reed The show includes a large cast of recurring and one-off characters. Did you have any favorites?

Road Master I personally liked the werewolf episode, which was taken from one of the books, but altered significantly. I thought the reason for her leaving at the end was weak AND stupid.

Road Master Yep. She decided she needed to see if she could make it on her own. Ya know, instead of sticking around and learning about her new reality from the only guy she's ever met who has a clue.

Brandon Reed The show is based on a series of novels. Have you read the books? How were they?

Road Master I have read most of them. The 1st is pretty slow. But after that, they are excellent and continue to get better.

Nona Lisa I have them in my list to buy. Been there for far too long. Should probably purchase a couple.

Road Master You'll have to muscle your way through the 1st book. But after that, they are superb.

Road Master Just a fun fact. In the books, Dresdens female, cop friend is named Karen Murphy. But in the show, her name is Connie Murphy. The reason for that is, apparently, there actually is (or was) a cop in Chicago named Karen Murphy when they were making the show.

Brandon Reed I wonder how they learned that Karen Murphy existed.

Road Master Sounds right. Those studios all probably have an intern or a whole team of interns that they hand a list of names. "These are the names we're thinking of using in this movie. Google them, Facebook them, do all the things!".

Road Master I would personally love to see more fantasy cop/P.I. type shows. I think there's a lot of potential there.
