"Terrible book. I swear the author has never met or spoken to a teenager in her life. This might be a good book for younger girls but it’s just not good. Brie is childish and annoying with her little temper tantrums even tho she’s 16. She’s unnecessarily cruel at one point and it seems so out of character. she has the hobbies and interests of a 10 year old girl. It’s boring and rushed, not at all relatable and just a waste of time. "

"I reread this book every couple of years & I love it every time. It’s a quick read full of an interesting plot and heartbreak. The MC has a really rough time accepting her death which makes her feel very realistic. As I’ve aged, I’ve aged up the characters in my mind and it helps because a lot of what happens doesn’t seem like things teenagers would do/say. The stakes are high & the emotions even higher. Amazing book. "
