The same cast from the first movie are all back...minus one (you'll know once you've watched the first movie), and plus Chris Pine. No one disappoints and Chris is completely adorable and off his rocker. Oh, yeah! How could I forget Christoph Waltz?! It's amazing how NOT funny he is in real life (watch his SNL visit and his one "outtake"...if you can even call it that), because he cracks me up whenever he plays a comedic role, especially in Downsizing.
The plot for this one was a great concept and very well executed but it's not quiiiite as funny as the first movie. That is due in no part to any bad acting or a poor script. I think it's just really hard to outdo the comedic genius of the first movie. Regardless, I highly recommend this sequel!"
