"What a sad, but honest movie about growing up and growing apart. #MovieWorthWatching #MovieMustSee

"I think many watchers of this film are drawn to both wonders whether the two boys share a liking for each other romantically or platonically. However, I think that such an argument shouldn’t be so focused on compared to how well the film depicts not only the judgement of boys being intimate with each other but the unbearable grief of losing your best friend. One of the boys, “Leo” chooses to push the other, “Remi” away due to the teasing and societal standards set by their schoolmates. I don’t believe Leo should be blamed for everything because of his immaturity having to do with how young he is. However, being taken through his grief and guilt throughout the rest of the movie along with shamefully facing his best friends mother is heart wrenching. The scenes are beautifully shot, the movie’s easy to follow through with no matter what language and both actors perfectly nail the emotions the boys are going through at such a young age."
"Hands down the BEST and most real film I’ve ever seen. It beautifully portrays how homophobia and toxic masculinity can affect youth. I absolutely adored watching the chemistry between Leo and Remi. Their connection was so emotional, raw, and real. Thank you Lukas Dhont for this masterpiece. Also thank you to Gustav and Eden for giving life to such a beautiful story.😭❤️"
