Books I Have Loved :^)

Kim said I couldn't put this one down. We have passed this through our entire family (Grandma, children, grandchildren . . . all of us :^) and it has quickly become EVERYones favorite read of the year.

Kim said BooK # 1 . . . This is a fun family to follow through all 4 books of their adventures. Endearing.

Kim said This is the first of 12 books in a "cozy" and "fun" lighthearted mystery series. Quick and enjoyable.

Kim said Dorcus writes about everyday happenings with her family. Some things she shares are funny, while others are moving. Many of her short chapters brought back pleasant memories for me of when I was raising my own children.

Kim said Every child (and adult for that matter) should read the Little House series. In these books Laura Ingalls Wilder paints vivid stories of her childhood (beginning with Little House in The Big Woods) and describes her adventures and experiences so well that you can easily spend an afternoon happily escaping to simpler times. The drawings by Garth Williams are beautiful.

Kim said This book is just plain old PURE FUN ! You will want to BUY it, as you actually WILL be "wrecking" it ! . . . Starting with mailing it (yes through the actual mail) to yourself, and then proceeding to "wreck" it in other ways. For instance - there is a page where you can collect all the stickers that come on your fruits and vegetables . . a place to trace or paint your hand . . a page to tear out and "crumple up' . . and even one to smear something icky on. Seriously . . this book is Pure FuN !

Kim said I absolutely LOVED this true story. I felt like it was written just for me. It is DEFINETLY one of the best books I have ever read. I was a bit sad for it to end as it is hard for me to find books that I enjoy as much as I did this one. Highly recommended !

Kim said This is a book that I could not put down once I started it :^) . . a book about relationships and family, love and belonging. I highly recommend reading it - so much so that we have passed it all around in our family and everyone from 8 to 79 has enjoyed it just as much as I did :^)

Kim said This fun little series of 4 books is written for children 9-12 years old by the author of The First Ladies Detective Agency series. It tells of Precious Ramotswe, as a child, solving little cases - prompting her love of 'detective work'. These are short, fun stories with nice moral values sprinkled in. Adults will enjoy these, as much as a child as young as 7 or 8.

Kim said This book is a great escape into the adventures of Brian Robeson who has to survive in the Alaskan wilderness alone after a plane crash with nothing but the clothes he has on, and a hatchet. You feel like you're with him as he learns to build a shelter, find food, and even figure out how to start a fire. I have read this book multiple times throughout my life.
