Camden said This is the cover I have and I’m not gonna lie. It’s a lot. It’s intimidating but it’s soooo good. This book is like 1800 of 5 stars! The movies are good. But this book is just so different. Instead of focusing all this energy around penny wise, we spend most of the book not know what “it” is. The book wants to paint a picture of how each child lost their innocence to this demon. So many amazing twists and scenes that were cut from the films. I kid you not I just absorbed this book. Must read

Camden said Now Carrie was his first book. It was also my first of his works I read. I’ve seen Carrie as a movie, a book, and a musical. The book beats all of them. It’s quite interesting what he did here. See in most books he writes there’s something supernatural that makes it horror. He used religion to fuel this instead. It’s so interesting and unique. Plus Carrie isn’t a teeny bopper like in the film. In fact she’s bovine. I was hooked. And if I had to rate it... 5 out of 5. He really hit me with this.

Camden said Now this is a series and I haven’t read beyond this book. Personally I didn’t really like this book. At least from what I got to. I checked it out towards the end of the year and never had a chance to finish it. From what I read I don’t really recommend it but I didn’t ever finish it and it’s a series so it must be at least a little good. But to be fair wicked is also a book series and no one can get through that book.

Camden said I preordered a copy of this book so all I can say is I cannot wait.

Camden said I’m just gonna say it. The movie was basically ruined this book. I know everyone who has seen the movie either enjoys it(if of an older generation) or hates it(if of a younger generation like me.). I promise you this book not only paints the picture so much better but explains each ghosts story and gives the ending an actual showstopper. While it’s slow at times this book is so much better than its movie. 4.5 stars out of 5. I’d say 5 but there’s a couple extremely minor things I’d have tweaked

Camden said Excellent book! I enjoyed it a lot. It was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it but... and I can’t believe I’m saying this... the movie was actually more enticing. Stephen king was involved more actively than he was in the shining’s film so that could be why. I’m not really sure. I just feel like the movie was more memorable. However I would definitely read this if you’ve read the shining. It’s a good sequel for the book. It really was enjoyable so out of 5 stars I’d give the book a 3 to maybe 3.5
