realstibby shared a tip "Pride Day 24: Slipping in right under the time limit for this one but... Wow. I hadn't yet seen this film despite being a big fan of Satoshi Kon but that was incorrect if me. This movie is about 3 homeless people who find a baby in the trash and decide to try to return the baby to her mother. The 3 homeless people are an alcoholic man, a teenage girl and a trans woman. I knew going in that this wasn't going to be perfect and it's not but it actually treats Hana, the trans character with a lot of compassion. It can be messy, these characters can be very messy and at times straight up cruel to each other. But I had an emotional reaction here and found myself just bawling by the end even though this movie was for the most part pretty lighthearted. If a movie that asks "what if virgin Mary was a homeless trans women" sounds interesting to you then I really do recommend this movie."

Empathetic and caring and slightly unhinged. She’s iconic and very relatable to me . I cried…a lot. Possibly the sweetest holiday/Christmas movie I’ve ever seen"

There are times I’m overwhelmed with emotions and others in falling out of my seat laughing. This film is a great one to watch"
