The documentary style cinematography and the apartment complex setup really worked in this one and the way it all wrapped up was extremely moving, warm, and heartfelt. My favorite Thanksgiving movie."

kayleyr shared a tip "i found this movie on hbo max and decided to watch it bc the description said something about thanksgiving (tis the season). i absolutely LOVED it. it’s shot in a very raw way, almost as if it was taking on a home video camera. the film is so comforting in the way it’s shot, the familial elements, etc. the acting is good, and the plot is intricate but not overwhelming. i really enjoyed watching this movie. 9/10."
