Continuing with the story from The Book of Life, this film will focus in Joaquín, who ventures into the Land of the Unknown to find his father. While Chakal's daughter, Chela, will travel to San Angel seeking to avenge the death of her father.

"Well it's not exactly out yet, I just said I liked/seen it so I would get recommended stuff like this. But I think it's going to be an amazing movie and not some cash grab. If you need more stuff to watch, I recommend Good Omens! It's It's very funny and interesting show, it's coming out with a second season soon ^^ I have the book too!"

"Sad that this was cancelled, but at least they made a show that takes place in the same universe and has mostly the same style! I guess that is as close to a sequel as we're gonna get. It's called "Maya and the Three" and the 3 gods of the original movie have a tiny cameo!"
