"3.25⭐️ Was hoping for more. It was just ok, mostly fx and cheese not even Hugh Grant could save. I never really got invested in the characters or the plot. Wasn’t expecting LOTR but I do want some wonder, maybe a bit of awe and emotional investment with my fantasy. Sorry 🤷‍♀️"

"This is the type of movie that should be experienced in the theater. High marks all around, from the cast, the epic visual effects, the story and writing, and the humor throughout the film... Makes this a fun & wild ride. I really appreciate all the imagination that went into creating this movie. I can easily see this movie turning into many more blockbuster sequels if enough people enjoyed it as much as I did. I hope so. I give it 9/10. "

"I knew nothing about D&D other than 30 years of pop culture references. About 15 min in I thought, this is juvenile, like with an animated movie tone. But I kept on and realized, hey I like kids movies, and just leaned into it. So much fun. It doesn’t change its tone but the humor, FX and action sequences are amazing. Solidifies Michelle Rodriguez’ HOF action career as the ultimate bad@ss. The Bridgerton guy was awesome. Pine gets another franchise since it looks like no more Star Trek for that cast. Cool younger characters. Bravo. "
