"this was good, but it could have been much better. the story opens up so many twisted avenues that are ultimately never explored. I really liked the cinematography, atmosphere, and especially the design and visuals for the creature, but I feel like they could've done a lot more with the concept and storyline. the characters could've been a lot more developed and likeable, and they could've went deeper into the wendigo mythology and lore. "The gore is great, the rest? Nah. If you're here for gore and body horror you won't be disappointed but this is a slow burn. I'd say it's a 5/10 as far as the whole thing goes. It's not the worst but it just sits there. The gore is featured with bonus close ups, it's also really detailed, and I'd give it a 7/10 for the gore."
