"This movie is so sweet and weird, and so very much my thing. Robert Carlyle is a magical actor, managing to ground this slightly convoluted story involving ballroom dancing, a questionably long ambulance ride, and Donnie Whalberg, with a powerful performance portraying a man processing deep, complex grief... with the power of dance! This also has an improbably excellent ensemble cast, with Marisa Tomei, Mary Steenbergen, John Goodman, Ernie Hudson, and Samwise Gam- Sean Astin! And a delightful surprise cameo at the very end. I do love this movie but I wish we saw more consequences for Donnie's actions, one conversation does not a reformed abuser make. 3.5/5"
"A enjoyable and emotion movie."
