"this was good, but it had potential to be better. I especially liked the interesting and compelling concept and how the film delved into the motivations of virginie and her perseverance to succeed even at her own expense. this movie did a wonderful job at building up suspense. however, I wish they would've focused more on the dad's death and how that effected the family (as that seems to be why virginie started farming the locusts) and the events leading the family to where they were instead of just being briefly mentioned. this also had some pacing and continuity issues that raised questions and made some things confusing. for example how towards the end the locusts become selective with who they kill, ignoring people in the open and chasing certain other people for dramatic impact. overall this has it's issues, but I thought it was worth a watch. "This movie so wanted to be Grace in horror but couldn't get there! So here's the thing I think it's a great idea, this movie has all the makings of a good idea, but right now as I type this I am an hour and ten minutes in, nothing really has happened. There's slow builds and there's snail builds. It's only the last twenty minutes that things happen and most of it is not shown on screen."
"Good thriller movie. ( although it suffers from a little bit of a pacing problem)"
