"Every time I find another Clive Barker book made into a movie, I'm always excited, but I go in with some hesitation. Unless Clive Barker is directly involved, the movies tend to be lackluster. This second installment of the Books of Blood surprised me and was quite enjoyable. It doesn't require watching the original, Book Of Blood, as this one brings back the base story to tie together the 3 stories. Even if you aren't familiar with the books, I think would still be an enjoyable film. 4/5"
