"Ok perhaps I am bias, but this is my favorite Ghibli so far, and that's a lot to say - I mean picking any ghibli over the others is difficult. Perhaps I just love this particular protagonist, even though she's similar to all the other nature protecting protagonists. She's definitely a badass with a heart dripping of gold. I also LOVE the creature designs. They're a bit creepy, but fantastical nonetheless. The world feels like it breathes on its own."
