"Robert mitchum’s villainous character is so creepy and menacing in this suspenseful thriller. This original is far better than the remake, sorry Scorsese but you goofed. Gregory peck vs Robert Mitchum, perfect good guy , bad guy. I still cannot believe Robert Mitchum didn’t win an Oscar for his role in this."
