"At first I was going to come here and complain that I’m confused out of my mind but then I found someone explain the ending of the film (they went to some showcase or whatever) and now I fully understand what happened and can appreciate the movie. I’ll explain what happens in a second. It was incredible and truly every detail given was important. I do recommend renting it so you can get accurate subtitles and not just the bad ones YouTube autogenerates. OKAY NOW SPOILER WARNING: basically Simon hides in the storage closet near the stairs during the party and when the poles fall on Laura she pushes them onto the door locking Simon in. The sounds in the night are Simon banging for someone to let him out and the crash was Simon falling and dying. Laura hallucinates everything at the end and kills herself by overdosing on Simon’s medicine. "
