I’m looking for books like the TV shows Your Honor and Defending Jacob. - Isabella |
Both of these shows are almost unbearably tense; they’re hard to watch but impossible to look away from. I have some book suggestions that should be equally gripping.
Between the Lines Like the shows you mentioned, these thrillers follow parents of teenagers accused of murder. They’re about the lengths that desperate parents will go to protect their children. If you haven’t already read Defending Jacob, the bestselling novel that inspired the TV show, it’s a great place to start. If you have, or you want a totally new story, these three wrenching and suspenseful reads will keep you on the edge of your seat. |
| The Dinner | Two couples meet for dinner at an elegant Amsterdam restaurant, where talk eventually turns to their two teenage sons and a situation they’re involved in that could derail the lives of both families. | Add to reading list |
