This book plucked a lot of heart strings and really gets you immersed in the late 19th century cuban jungle where all you can believe in is dim hope. Its also a shirt book you could probably get it done with in a day

I liked what the bigger picture of the book how the world is portrayed as this absurd plane and we have to jump into it and there is no absolute meaning or purpose to life and comparing others idealogies to Camus's. The writing itself was boring dull, neverending, and poorly written in my opinion Id recommend listening to a lecture about it rather than actually reading it
