So well written you feel drawn in by the unexpected family that Leesa drops you in the middle of. The longing, pain and love expressed are full of compassion and tenderness. There is more swearing than I’m used to, it is by no means a “clean” read but it does put you in a world that paints a picture of the southerner that feel familiar and inviting. Could not be put down a read time of around 8 hrs.
