I enjoyed it very much. Reread it so many times that my copy fell apart in my hands. Lead me to other fine reads, mentioned by characters in the book, like a poem called Aurora Leigh.

That's not the version I would choose. You're looking for Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, not this one from Bear McCreary. Read the original or you will miss out on a lot of the important and subtle nuances that enhance the story line. Without them, a lot of things won't make the same kind of sense.

It's my favorite series of its genre. But I read book 3 first, before I knew it was part of a series. I recommend starting with book 1, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
