Some Things I Still Can't Tell You

Books | Misha Collins

I love all of her books and this one like the others was a scathing representation of a woman surviving. She survived being an immigrant and sexual assault and still chose to write of beauty and intimacy in such a delicate way. Excellent book from beginning to end.

Wow this is such an engrossing book. I vowed that 2022 would be the year is devote to being better in every aspect of my life and being a better ally to BIPOC people and ally for my LGBTIA+ brothers and sisters is so important. This book makes me rethink even the mundane things I benefit from as a white woman and how to use that to help others, by listening to what they need and not buying into performative activism efforts.

The Four Agreements

Books | Don Miguel Ruiz

This books was so well written. I do wish they had made it clear it was about infertility. I like the book, but I am childless by choice. Also the characters in this book need a lot of therapy. Babies don’t fill a void in your life and their not all marriage is. Again very well written, but not the book for me.
