I usually don't like reading YA books with more than a trilogy but the selection series is addictive. The characters are a little confusing at times as it's never explicitly stated who the selected girls are, most just applied and you have to assume. The storyline is really good and it doesn't progress too fast or too slow (not a slow burn) so I like that. I read the first two books in a day and a half.
