I love Jodi Picoult. And this book is my new favorite! It surprised me. It made me think. And it gave me a greater appreciation for what the hospital staff experienced during Covid. When I saw the story was set amidst the pandemic, I rolled my eyes... but once I started it, I didn't want to put it down! Now I am sorry I am done with it.
