Iâll be honest... The Ember in the Ashes (^^) wasnât as good as I hoped it to be. While it was a great read and it was written well, etc, I guess it was a bit slow. If not slow, then insufficient? Iâm not sure how to describe it. But I do think itâs worth reading the series! I mean, Iâve only read the first and second, but the second gets a lot better and Iâm sure the series as a whole is amazing! Itâs plot and just certain elements of it arenât cliche which is good. You get the unexpected
