Ok, so, throw your expectations out the window. So maybe you watched the show when you were in elementary or middle school. This book throws you into a monster’s perspective at trying to fit in at a school for regular people. If you follow through the series you’ll get both a story of high school drama with petty fights and popular girl syndrome but also a story of acceptance and trying to get people to see the person in the monster.

I love this book so much. Admittedly it’s been a while since I last read it but the at least 3 times I’ve read it I’ve loved it. Such a creative story and so unexpected.
