dystopian fiction>> fandoms~ TOUTS, DIVGNT, TMR, WTCS, THG, etc 🤭 and as always, stay gold 🌅
The writing style of this book is super immature, which is saying a lot being that the main character is a teenager. The juvenile writing just makes the entire book agonizing, and makes being inside of Esmes head a chore. I was cringing at the mere wording and storytelling on every page. Kayla and Esmes past incident at camp that Esme continuously refers to in an annoying "ominous" manner, really isn't all that interesting, and a huge let down once you learn what it is.
