I've seen this movie 5 times now. If you're a Sonic fan, you'll LOVE this movie. I'm begging you to PLEASE watch the post-credits scene. It's amazing.

While I can't speak on how well it represented the source material, as I've never played the games, I loved the movie enough that right after I finished it I went to the nearest game stop to get a copy of the Nathan Drake collection to get into the series. Currently booting up my PS4 right now to start playing.

There were certain things I expected that didn't happen, but I don't think it made it any worse. I still loved the book and am looking forward to reading the rest. Loved Agatha and Sophie's dynamic. Overall I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of the darker side of fairy tales that Disney was too cowardly to show. The whole concept of this fairy tale school for heroes and villains is based on that, actually.
