This book reads so much like a modern day Jackie Collins novel. There’s a little bit of everything in it- drama, betrayal, hardships, steam, etc. it’s an easy read that kept me entertained.

Keen on finding out what happened to 19 year old Tallulah from the bus, who went missing with her baby daddy after a night out with her friends? I started reading this book in a book club I recently joined and I’m so glad I did. I was engaged and intrigued the whole time. This is my first Lisa Jewel book but it definitely won’t be my last.

I cannot rave about this book enough. This is one of those don’t judge a book by it’s cover moments for me. I added it to my TBR list after someone recommended it online without knowing anything about it. I was completely underwhelmed by its cover when I checked it out at the library but I couldn’t get through the pages fast enough. I was engrossed from beginning to end. Just when you think you know who the killer is it changes two more times!

It was a slow and almost difficult read with all the “fanciness” added. I struggled in the beginning because I wasn’t very invested until the last quarter of the book. It ended very abruptly and I wish there was more about her healing process. It was drug our with detail in the beginning that I wish was there for the end.
