It was an interesting read; it constantly switches back and forth from Belle's present day experiences, to that of the past (from the perspective of another, who I will not name as I don't want to ruin the surprise.) The book is rich with story and really does paint a vivid picture as to why an enchantress would feel the need to pass such a sever test on such a young child at the age of 11. I will note however, that I found quite a few spelling errors/grammatical mistakes in my copy.
