As a 20-something childless widow I often feel overlooked in society because I am “young and will find love again”. Most of the books I have read (okay fine, listened to) focus the story on finding a chapter 2; it doesn’t usually talk about the journey of finding your new identity without your best friend. I love that the love story in this book focuses on her chapter 1 & the struggles and pain of grief and navigating relationships with the in-laws. It was therapeutic and I finally feel seen.
