This book hit me so deeply, as woman, as a child of an alcoholic, and now as a divorced mom.

This book was a powerful read that illustrated that just because something may feel normal in our own families, it may not be normal by society’s definitions. In this case, the author grew up experiencing a lot of #trauma, but it was he’s for her to put words to that until later in life.
