It’s a slow read at first. It does pick up, but the end was a bit anticlimactic, in my opinion. It left me thinking, “That’s it? That’s the last page?” It left me craving more because the book takes you on a raw, but realistic journey through the main character’s life and then the book kinda just abruptly ends. I will say, the scenery descriptions are beautiful and captivating. Overall, it’s a great book. I just feel like maybe there should have been an epilogue for the book to feel complete.
