Really powerful read. Incredibly visceral, and its discussion of EDs holds nothing back. McCurdy works hard to really put the reader in her head. Her literary voice is astounding, affording the emotional scenes the weight they deserve while still delivering dry morbid humor at times. I’m not one to easily go through a book in about three sittings. My attention is sparing— especially as a college student. Yet I found myself unable to stop listening. Audiobook is great. Definitely recommend.
