Absolutely loved this book!! I’m in love with this couple. Olive is dorky, awkward and lovable. Adam is an endearing, I-hate-everyone-but-you, over protective sweetheart. They have so much chemistry, their banter is swoon worthy and hilarious. The cliche scenes/tropes had me kicking my feet while still addressing some of the sexism in STEM. Don’t forget to sign up for Hazelwood’s newsletter to read chapter 16 from Adams POV! It’s a must!!!

Delightfully cheesy and cliche. Definitely has some secondhand embarrassment inducing scenes but what good, YA book doesn’t? Liz and Wes are both charming and lovable characters and they’re hilarious. It’s so sweet to see their friendship grow but also very frustrating because Liz is so damn blind for a self professed love expert.

Can’t recommend this book enough. Alex and Henry are charming and hilarious as hell. It’s romantic, steamy, hysterical, emotional and just so damn good. I was smiling the whole time I read it and I swear these two boys own my heart. There is so much to love about this book. Also love that Alex is Mexican American, the way his culture is written in is so damn relatable. Definitely my new favorite book.

Great book. The end had me sobbing but Lex is honestly annoying. At one point she says “I don’t believe in love, I believe in science” and I swear my eyes rolled so hard, I saw my brain. Another time she makes a comment about how entertaining it is for geeks to make fun of cheerleaders 😒. I’m a huge dork but it was so hard relating to her. She tried so hard to seem different from other girls sometimes that it was just irritating. But other than that it was a great, incredibly emotional book

I absolutely loved this book. The representation of Latinx culture filled my heart with so much joy and the trans representation was also very eye opening and incredibly interesting. The book is a little frustrating at times because Yadriel is terrible at talking himself out of trouble but other than that, the characters are so well written and lovable. I don’t particularly like fantasy books but I couldn’t put this down. It totally blew me away and is now definitely one of my favorites.
