It’s a great premise and the characters live in a utopia where natural death isn’t a thing anymore. Becuase of this, there are people called Scythes, who kill people at random. The two main characters end up as apprentices of a Sythe, against their will, and must complete their training in order to live; because whoever doesn’t will be killed.

Amazing show, absolutely amazing in practically all aspects. I highly recommend this show to anyone looking for something new to watch on Netflix. A few scenes could potentially tigger some people, so I’d be cautious around that, but honestly, the storytelling and the characters make it all worth it. Currently anxiously awaiting the fourth season, though!

Actually surprisingly good. I will say that I think that the first two books in the Hunger Games trilogy were my favorite by Suzanne Collins and I was a little bit skeptical if this was going to be a good read. If you’re hesitant to read it because it’s a prequel centered around President Snow, don’t be. It’s really great to dive back into the world of Panem and make so many connections to the original trilogy.
