The way I interpreted this book is that sometimes Prince Charming can be the villain. Recently I broke up with my toxic ex boyfriend who emotionally abused me and gaslit me for 4 years. So reading this book about feminism and being strong without a man is sort of therapeutic for me. I know this is a queer romance but I saw the quotes about women empowerment more than I saw romance and that’s quite alright with me.
