Rose Fueston

An excellent romcom & it’s a desi Shakespeare inspired one! I was literally laughing out loud so much with this book. The romance is fun and the spice is pretty hot!

I thought this was cute. I like reading YA books so I can experience what it’s like to be a reckless teenager who doesn’t think through their decisions and what it’s like to be in love the only way a 16 year old can. It’s not the greatest book. It lacks a lot of things and diversity, but it was a nice, quick way to escape. I laughed a bit and cried and cringed.

Ok, it’s weird that I liked this book when it was pretty bare bones cliché. But books where you’re unsure of what’s real or not creep me out so this book definitely had me in its hold. I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending and there’s a few plot holes. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t scare that easily, but for whatever reading not being able to trust what you see can really capture my attention.

I love getting the forensic and journalistic approach to true crime that’s still entertaining. Jensen and Holes are incredible podcast hosts that are eager to educate and spread the word on unsolved crimes.
